In 2024, Karbon-X partnered with the Banff Marathon to offset the event's environmental impact. A comprehensive assessment by Brightspot Climate revealed significant carbon emissions from transportation, energy use, and waste.
To address this, Karbon-X provided 956 VERRA carbon credits supporting projects like renewable energy generation and clean cookstove initiatives in developing countries.
